چکیده

In the present study, an accurate model is used for analyzing asymmetric shaft with misalignment and under unbalance forces in rotating coordinates verified by developing experimental test. The rotor modeled Timoshenko beam theory coupled to a motor. The differential equations of motion are discretized Rayleigh-Ritz method derived from Hamilton's principle. Thereafter, According results, frequency range detected which, resonance instability will occur. The dynamic behavior investigated near boundary region. Various parameters, including unbalanced induced forces, dimensions cross-section taken into account. Finally, vibration responses system their Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) presented graphically determine frequencies harmonic responses. It concluded that asymmetry fault severely affect response rotor. Moreover, accuracy results increased applying theory.By test connected electric motor fault, verifying this has been done. The obviously obtained unstable operating area as acquired motion.

Dynamic Stability of Nano FGM Beam Using Timoshenko Theory

Based on the nonlocal Timoshenko beam theory, the dynamic stability of functionally gradded (FG) nanoeams under axial load is studied in thermal environment, with considering surface effect. It is used power law distribution for FGM and the surface stress effects are considered based on Gurtin-Murdoch continuum theory. Using Von Karman geometric nonlinearity, governing equations are derived bas...

Investigating Nonlinear Vibration Behavior of Rotors with Asymmetry Shaft Considering Misalignment

In this paper, the nonlinear vibration behavior of a rotor with asymmetric shaft considering misalignment is studied. The system consists of a rectangular shaft and a disk which is connected to a motor through a flexible coupling. In order to consider higher order deformations, nonlinear Bernoulli beam is used for modeling the shaft. Gibbons’ equations are utilized to apply misaligned coupling ...

Thermal behavior analysis of the functionally graded Timoshenko\'s beam

The intention of this study is the analysis of thermal behavior of functionally graded beam (FGB). The distribution of material properties is imitated exponential function. For thermal loading the steady state of heat conduction with exponentially and hyperbolic variations through the thickness of FGB, is considered. With comparing of thermal behavior of both isotropic beam and FGB, it is appea...

Vibration of Timoshenko Beam-Soil Foundation Interaction by Using the Spectral Element Method

This article presents an analysis of free vibration of elastically supported Timoshenko beams by using the spectral element method. The governing partial differential equation is elaborated to formulate the spectral stiffness matrix. Effectively, the non classical end boundary conditions of the beam are the primordial task to calibrate the phenomenon of the Timoshenko beam-soil foundation inter...
